Matt became a Partner with DCE upon the merger with Hartcher Consulting Engineers. After starting as an intern and continuing to work with DCE for 8 years, Matt moved to the UK where over 5 years he broadened his professional experience. Upon returning home to Australia Matt founded Hartcher Consulting Engineers where he worked with his team on a large number of prestigious high end residential and commercial developments predominantly throughout London and the UK before merging with DCE in 2019.
Matt is a Fellow of Engineers Australia, Chartered in the areas of Structural engineering, Civil Engineering and Leadership and Management. He is registered as a Design practitioner, Professional Engineer and Principal Design Practitioner under the Design and Building Practitioners Act 2020. Matt holds a Bachelor of Engineering in civil engineering from the University of Technology, Sydney as well as a Master of Engineering Management. Additionally, Matt is a registered Engineer in Queensland and is eligible to work in Victoria.
Over 25 years, Matt has gained extensive experience primarily in structural, civil and façade engineering design as well as working as an expert witness on litigation matters.
