Marek became a Partner at DCE in 2003, having worked at Demlakian since 1998. His career started in Europe, where he honed his skills in industrial and civil infrastructure, followed by a tenure in the Pacific, where he specialized in seismic analysis, designing, and detailing building structures. Marek expanded his local engineering expertise in Melbourne before relocating to Sydney and joining Demlakian.
Marek is a Member of Engineers Australia, Chartered in Structural Engineering. He is registered as a Design practitioner, Professional Engineer and Principal Design Practitioner under the Design and Building Practitioners Act 2020. Marek leads the Strata and Remedial division at DCE, and has vast experience in structural, civil, and façade engineering, as well as providing his services as an expert witness in litigation matters.
