An outstanding opportunity exists for an experienced Building Consultant to advance their career with the Strata & Remedial division of a well respected and growing consultancy.
Demlakian Strata & Remedial are a privately owned company with over 25 years experience in the Strata & Remedial industry. We provide a wide range of building services to a variety of Clients, including Strata & Property Managers, Strata Lawyers, Construction companies and Government departments.
Due to sustained growth within the business, there is an excellent opportunity for a talented and suitably experienced Building Consultant to join our experienced, friendly & dynamic team.
In this role you will be working on a variety of projects in the residential and commercial construction industries. You will be Investigating Building Defects, Preparing Technical Reports, Scott Schedules and Tenders Documents for remedial works. Your duties will also include site inspections, supervision of remedial works on site and liaising with clients and contractors during the entire process.
Ideally you will have:
• Minimum 5 years of local experience in the Residential and Commercial construction industry;
• Experience in conducting on-site assessments of construction works and building defects together with the preparation of accurate reports;
• Ability to prepare & administer construction contracts, undertake work-in-progress inspections and make progress claim assessments;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Knowledge of Australian Standards and BCA;
• A genuine desire to expand your skills and progress your professional career.

Senior Draftsperson - Structural Residential/Commercial Developments
Draftsperson - Structural Residential/Commercial Developments
•Local experience in the Documentation of Residential, Commercial & Industrial structures with concrete and steel detailing experience.
•Autocad experience in version 2009
Draftsperson/Designer - Civil and Hydraulic Designer
•Current and local experience in Civil Design and Documentation, particularly earthworks, stormwater, on-site stormwater detention / retention, road works, pavements and subdivision projects.
•Experience with Sewerage and Water reticulation would be an advantage.
•3 to 4 years post graduate experience in the above areas necessary.
•Working knowledge of DRAINS or similar software is essential, along with a sound knowledge of AutoCAD
